Gaia Wyverns adds 35 new types of Wyverns with different properties. They are divided into 9 tiers and each tier have 4 different variants(except Palus, 3). There is also a saddle for them that you can craft.

This is a expansion mod made for Gaia but can be used with any dino mod, or as a standalone.

General properties

Gaia Wyverns cannot be tamed, kill wild ones and bring their loot to your Wyvern Shrine to obtain a baby Wyvern for you to raise. These Wyverns cannot spawn nests or reproduce. Have no gender.

They can level speed, move backwards and have an increased turning rate. Their inventory will smelt metal to metal ingots, scrap metal to scrap metal ingots, turns wood into charcoal and cooks all kinds of raw meat into cooked meat. Max amount of wild ones is 3 per type, so there can be a total of 93 wild Gaia Wyverns active. All variants have different types of music. These Wyverns uses same food settings as Spinos, so they prefer fish meat.

Tiers

Arenae Wyvern
Flamebreath replaced with a sandstorm attack that slows target by 25% and removes 1% health per second.

Scorching Wyvern
Regular vanilla flamebreath attack.

Banshee Wyvern
Flamebreath replaced with a screaming attack that immobilize nearby creatures for 10 seconds.

Midgar Wyvern
Flamebreath replaced with minions, that’ll explode into a gascloud, dealing torpor.

Etiam Wyvern
Flamebreath replaced with meteor shower. Immune to explosions.

Ruina Wyvern
Flamebreath replaces with minions, that’ll explode into a fireball, causing AoE damage. Immune to explosions.

Auris Wyvern
Flamebreath replaced with a blizzard/shards that rains down, slowing enemies.

Palus Wyvern
Same attacks as vanilla Zombie Wyverns.

Tribuo Wyvern
Regular vanilla flamebreath attack. Can also divebomb like Griffins.

Types

Mighty
Red. x4 stats compared to vanilla. Stronger attacks and more health. Bleeds victim, making it lose 10% health over 5 seconds. Recieves 15% more damage.

Toxic.
Green. x4 stats compared to vanilla. Deals Torpor in its attacks. Immune to torpor. Takes 15% less damage.

Rapid.
Blue. x4 stats compared to vanilla. Is 50% faster. Attacks slows target by 50% for 5 seconds. 20% increased carry capacity.

Omega.
Black/purple/yellow. x8 stats compared to vanilla. Attacks slows target by 50% for 5 seconds, making it lose 10% health over 5 seconds and 25% of damage is applied as torpor. Is 50% faster, immune to torpor. Takes 15% less damage. Cannot be obtained.

EnableStatMod must be set to true for the different multipliers to work.

StatMod is an older system for controlling stats. It works fine in most cases but in some cases it won’t. Use it at your own risk. Default values are 1, increasing it will increase the stats, both wild and tamed. Numbers are multiplied, so for example, creature X has 1.000 base HP. Setting Health=2 will make it have 2.000 HP, creature Y does 100 base dmg. Setting Damage=2 will make the base dmg 200.

MaxWildWyverns controls how many wild ones of each type there is. Leaving it at default, 3, will potentially spawn in 35*3 wild ones.

DisableShrine removes the shrine so only admins can spawn/place it.

DisableCustomMusic removes the custom area music.
