WHERE DO GAIA BABIES SPAWN?

Gaia BabySpawner will spawn babies in these containers primarily,

Beach. Redwood. Mountain. Jungle. Grassland. SE Badlands. SE Green Desert. AB Twitch Fertile Land. EXT Wasteland Easy. VAL Chalk Hills Plains.

CANT LEARN ENGRAMS, PLACE STRUCTURES, DINOS DISAPPEARED ETC?

You have a bad mod install and/or a corrupt save. Usually caused by hiccups between your server and Steam CMD. That causes your server to believe that mod is properly installed, but it isn’t. If you suffer from this issues, chances are that it’ll happen with every new update so you have 2 solutions, either get a better, more reliable host, or manually update your modfiles through FTP to your server. There’s nothing we can do about this and there’s nothing wrong with Gaia itself.

HOW DO I SPAWN IN DINO AGE?

You cant. Dino Age is tied to the creature and cant be carried, used or spawned outside of it. You can change the craftspeed for Dino Age with ForgottenCraftSpeed=X, where X is a multiplier.

IS GAIA A CORE MOD? WHICH PRIORITY DOES GAIA NEED?

Gaia is not a core mod. By design, noting is rewritten, remapped or disabled. Every creature and item follow your serversetting, thus, Gaia can be loaded last of all your mods. Bear in mind that if you use a non-stackable mod and load it first, it will affect every mod loaded after that, including Gaia.

Gaia Beacons standalone mod remaps all surface lootdrops, thats the only exception and that mod is not needed to enjoy Gaia.

CAN GAIA BE USED WITH MOD X?

Basically, yes. It all depends on how the other mod/map is setup. For example, Extinction Core and Pugnacia is both core mods that remaps vanilla items and levels, so loading those before Gaia will cause some minor issues. Never use more than 1 mod if you use a non stackable or core mod. You will not get any support from me. It may sound harsh but I cant control other mods, especially when they are un-stackable.

VANILLA SADDLES OR SADDLES FROM OTHER MODS WONT WORK.

That is by design. Gaia creatures uses custom saddles that requires Gaia resources to craft/obtain. Therefore, saddle tags are changed and other saddles wont work.

I WANT TO CHANGE CREATURES LOOTDROPS, HOW DO I DO THAT?

To find the corrent lootdrops Gaia uses, look in your ARK mod folder for Gaia>Corefiles>Lootsets. Here is an example(June 2018), https://pastebin.com/pAJBQaM6.

WHICH MAP IS BEST OPTIMIZED FOR GAIA?

TheIsland.

IM HAVING OVERSPAWNS OF CREATURE X ON MAP Y.

No Gaia creature natively cause overspawns. Either the container is broken(most often custom containers) or you have changed the spawns manually causing it. You should check your settings first, then report it to the mapmaker and then to us – we might be able to fix it even though it’s not caused by Gaia.

WHAT’S THE POINT OF THE GIANT DESMODUS? IT’S ONLY ANNOYING.

It was added by popular demand to combat the safety you get when acquiring a flyer. You can disable it with, DisableDesmodus=True in your GUS.

THE TRANQS ISNT ANY BETTER THAN VANILLA?!

They are better. And, they comes with a ini-option so you can adjust them to your playstyle and server. Head over to ServerSettings.

I CAN’T EQUIP TEK SADDLES ON GAIA DINOS?

That is intended to not make them to overpowered.

HOW DO I TAME THE DIVINE/DREADFUL & HEAVENLY/DEMONIC?

Exact same way as their vanilla counterpart. Same food/method, same affininty and everything scales with your servers dinolevels, making Gaia even more compatible with any mod that adds other dinos(yes, even core mods). Some exceptions is made on purpose, for example the Demonic Golem have same affinity with stone and sulfur due to most maps dont have access to sulfur.

DOES GAIA CHANGE THE FLYER COMPONENTS(REMOVE THE WC NERF ON FLYERS) ON VANILLA DINOS?

No, in order to make Gaia as compatible with other mods as possible, I have chosen not to. The flyers(tameable) I have made for Gaia can level speed though.

WHICH MAPS/MODS IS GAIA COMPATIBLE WITH?

All maps will work with Gaia as long as they use vanilla spawn containers. Some maps change weights to their spawn containers though so you might have to edit spawns if you are running a custom map. Head over to the spawnsheet to have a look for yourself.

Some custom spawners are used natively in Gaia, thanks to good map developers. As of right now, its Ragnarök, Ebenus Astrum, Hope, Olympus and Tartarus.

All mods that don't remap vanilla stuff will work fine with Gaia. If a mod has remapped vanilla item X, and Gaia needs X as a crafting ingredient, you’ll not be able to craft the Gaia item unless you change it manually with ConfigOverrideItemCraftingCosts.

DOES GAIA CHANGE DINO OR PLAYER LEVELS?

No. Gaia follow your server settings.

DOES GAIA NEED FIRST LOAD PRIORITY?

Nope, Gaia can be loaded last if you so wish. Everything in Gaia is designed to not interfere with vanilla files in any way. Everything will work regardless of load priority.

WHAT ARE THE CREATURE DNA AND GENESIS EGGS USED FOR?

They are used in the DNA Splicer to craft fertilized eggs from the Divine, Dreadful, Heavenly, and Demonic tiers.

HOW DO THE GAIA BUNNY LEVELS WORK?

The bunny will lay an egg every 30 minutes - 4 hours. If you go out of render for more than 15 minutes, the timer will be reset. The bunny does not have to be on wander. It just needs to sit there and chill.

The level output:
A = Bunny level.
B = A/2-1.
A + B = The level your egg will be.

MY DECAYING DINO IS DYING! WHAT DO I DO?

The Decaying tier was better updated to reflect its name. Losing health is normal. You can prevent this by putting it into a cryopod/soulball (depending on mods) or adding this line to your gameusersettings.ini file.
